Prof. Dr. Gökhan Koç, who provides services in the field of urological surgery in İzmir, graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2000. After graduation, he worked as a research assistant at the urology clinic of Tepecik Training and Research Hospital for 5 years and became a specialist doctor in 2007.

After serving as a military physician (Lieutenant) at Şırnak Hospital between 2007-2008, he worked as a specialist doctor at İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital for 5 years. During his tenure, he also received laparoscopic surgery training at Uludağ University as a specialist doctor and later completed a laparoscopic and robotic surgery observership at the University of Iowa College of Medicine.

In addition to his practical training in the field of urology, Dr. Koç continued his academic career and became an associate professor in 2013, and a full professor at the University of Health Sciences in 2018. For over 20 years, he has participated in thousands of surgeries, especially in uro-oncology, stone diseases, prostate diseases, and andrological surgeries, at Tepecik Training and Research Hospital, one of the busiest hospitals in Turkey. In recent years, he has successfully performed operations in the field of robotic surgery. Prof. Dr. Gökhan Koç continues to serve at İzmir University of Economics Medical Point Hospital. He is married and has a daughter.
